The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) has announced that it will be giving a limited number of grants to help fund initiatives for World Obesity Day in Europe in March 2021.
Grants will range from €1,000 up to a maximum (exceptionally) of €5,000 depending on the scale and potential impact of the activities involved. Applications for consideration can be submitted via the form on the World Obesity Day Europe website and must be accompanied by a detailed breakdown of how it would be spent.
Priority will be given to initiatives that will be co-funded by EASO National Associations, COMs and/or additional partners. The amounts awarded will be entirely at the discretion of EASO and will only be given to applications made in advance of the event or initiative taking place and are subject to availability.
The projects must be held specifically in conjunction with World Obesity Day and must be prominently branded with both the World Obesity Day and EASO logos. A short report and photographs or video of the initiative will need to be submitted to EASO within one month of it taking place.
